Tekriti started on paper on Feb 7th, 2005 and I haven’t been home since then. My parents, brother and sister - have all come to visit me more than once but it’s been almost 18 months that I haven’t visited them. My mom says that I was much better when I was in the US - and she is totally justified in saying that. :-)
So that I don’t hear it one more time, I have finally decided to make a trip home for a few days. I will be taking off tomorrow afternoon and will fly straight to Kolkata from where I will take a train home. I will have at least couple of hours free time (more like 3 hours) in between and I don’t know anybody there - so if anybody is in Kolkata and want to meet up, let me know by email. (I know this is too late a notice but I am just taking a chance).

It’s hard to leave the city, especially knowing that it adds pressure on the others at Tekriti but, it will be much easier for me to take a small break, be with family and come back rejuvenated and be more productive. I have postponed it long enough, I don’t feel right doing that any more.

I am flying directly to Chennai (and so are Manish and Gaurav) for a day for our meeting with the other TeNeT companies and will be back in Delhi the same night.

The other major travel this month is my trip to the US on 20th of this month. Gaurav and I are going to be in the Bay Area and Seattle and will be there for a couple of weeks. Apart from meeting up with Marc and other clients, I will like to meet more like-minded people in the 2 cities for coffee or something. So - if you are in one of those cities and want to meet up, please drop me an email and we can try to plan out something.

Hope you had a good time back home. Once you leave home for higher studies or work, it becomes so difficult to return .. except for occasional visits.
