Need to feel better
Posted by Ashish on January 10th, 2006
I have really been busy with the existing projects since last week and I have not been able to do much of the reading, exploring other cool stuff happening around or other things that I would have wanted to do. Not only this - there are more than a few people that I met in the last fortnight and have to follow up with - but have not been able to do so. Heck - I have not even been to the health club in the last 15 days now. And I am still working real late nights.
I really need to feel better about myself. Let me paste a few links saying good things about me / Tekriti in the last 15 days:
- Tekriti - A great Software Development team - Thanks Bernard!
- Blog Masala - Next Best Blogs - Thanks Fast Company! You will need to subscribe but the article mentions LatestInIndia as one of the best 3 upoming Indian business blogs. The other 2 are Indian Economy Blog and YouthCurry.
From Fast Company:
Blog: Ashish’s World! Who writes it: Ashish Kumar, former Microsoftie and cofounder of New Delhi-based Tekriti software Why you should read it: The musings of an ambitious entrepreneur make for an inspiring read. Kumar writes on Indian design schools, tech news, and cricket, but best are his passionate posts about starting a company: “Even when I am drawing a very modest salary, there hardly is anything better than working on something that you absolutely believe in.”
OK - I feel a little better now!
I am going to go to health club today, irrespective of the work-load. Enough is enough! And, then, I also have the right to crib once in a few days.

If we can’t afford to miss to take our bath, brush our teeths etc. then why gym? Still most of the people in the world think, exercise is the secondary thing in life. it’s too bad…

Glad you feel better!! I discovered your blog through the Fast Company piece and have been subscribed ever since. Enjoy the insights and inspiration for my own eventual goal to return back to India. Cheers!

Thanks Neeraj - I hope to continue the insights
The goal you have - you really need to take a hard call at that sometime. I went through the same and know exactly the issues that try to keep you there.
Amit - yeah, I finally started to go to gym again.
